Football Card

Football Card.

Here is a Masculine birthday card for the football crazed!

I loved how it turned out with all the right texture and what a great use
for all those grommets in your stash...I added a simple happy
birthday oval and added some dashes with my new
favorite white pen, ( I love this pen!), and thats it, another birthday card
for the hubbster done!

Pink Bow Girl Skull

A Pink Bow, Girl Skull Birthday Card.

I love this card. The cutter used here was a small heart punch for the eyes and my scissors, (no electric cutters used here).

This card is a great "go to" card for when you need a quick, girly, trendy card for any occassion.

This is definitely a scrap buster...love that!

Girly Skull

Girly Skull and Crossbones Card.

Here is a Birthday Card I made that matches my Zebra & Skull Banner.

I used my electric cutter and MTC Software...I'm still a newbie at this but it works awesome! If your making something that requires a lot of cutting, then a cutter is a must, but I have to admit I'm a crafty geek and sometimes enjoy the Good Ole "Hand cut"way. LOL...I guess it brings me back to Kindergarten...Hey, there's nothing wrong with feeling like a kid again! (8
Have a great day and...

A Latte Wishes

Are you sending A latte Wishes but need some inspiration?

Here is a card for those Coffee Lovers.

It's funny but I have been holding on to these never been used Starbucks Coffee sleeves for about two years now, (I only know that because it has been two years since I quit my job to be a SAHM, and that was when I picked them up). So anyway, I have been thinking about how to use these sleeves for two years! HA!

I was able to use up pieces of card stock in my scrap bin and use all those left over random rub-on-letters that lay around forever...I would call this a success!
Off into my card stash it goes for somebody someday (8

Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys Romo Jersey birthday card...

...great for the cowboy fans you know.

Whipped this up a couple of weeks ago and thought I would share another version of the shirt...no die cutters used here! The imperfections are what I love about free handing it.
Die cutters are nice to have but with a little imagination you can still make plenty of things you would typically make on your cutter. You should try it! Go create something without your cutter.

The Diva Birthday Card

The Diva Birthday Card!

...and gift card holder makeover. I rarely buy greeting cards anymore unless I am in a pinch. I always try to have a stock of cards on hand that I can pull out when needed and personalize.

I made matching Binder Clips and Clothespin clips to match. Check them out in my side bar under the label Mod Podge.

Outside had the best lighting today...

...so, while I was in the backyard taking pictures...

...I ran into a local sunbather, just chillin' by the pool and waterfalls, and he looked oh so relaxed...

...at least until I came along with my camera! TE HE HE Sorry Lou!
Have a great  day &

mmmm chocolates!

mmmmmm chocolates! These cute little chocolates were a FREE cut file I found on
SVG Cuts...

but I decided I wanted to cut them out by hand...

...who needs a cut file when you can do it the old fashion way!
No really these were super easy to cut out by hand, but if you wanted to make lots of
chocolates then I would go download the file.

I just wanted a simple card to go with a real box of chocolates,

and look how cute they turned out!
A simple yummy chocolate bithday greeting. Sometimes its just easier to DIY it.

DIY Greeting Card Set

I don't know about you, but I go through creative phases where I make the heck out of somethings until I can't look at it anymore! I usually can't make the same thing twice, because I get bored. I will assembly line a project if I know I need more than one, because I will never get around to making more. The same thing goes if I walk away in the middle of a project for too long, it will sit around for awhile on a corner shelf then eventually get tossed into the bin labeled "Still Working On".
A couple of years ago I would make all my cards for all occasions, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Weddings, baby showers,Valentine's, Easter, well you get the idea, and even a few blank cards that I could use just in case I forgot somebody. I would start with January and work my way through the year to Christmas, "Yes, I even made all my Christmas cards", and I tried to not forget anyone. I kept it up for about a year and a half when I finally started getting bored and found myself dreading to make a another card, pretty soon I was making a card here buying a card there until I decided their were too many birthdays and holidays to keep up and that's when I took a break and discovered sewing again.

This was a birthday gift, I think I gave it to my sister, I can't remember it was a couple years ago, I just came across these photo's in my files and thought I would post them. In the top left corner of the picture below is a box I made for the cards to fit into, all but the wish card, that was the actual birthday card.

ENJOY!
